Arden Road, Baltimore, Maryland.  Addition with green roof.  Original pine and oak flooring restored; new flooring in Lyptus and Forbo.  Click for more green roof info.

Mt. Washington, Baltimore, Maryland   Library and reading room addition to existing 1933 home.  Structural insulated panel systems (SIPS) walls and ceiling.  Curved exterior wall straw bale wall.  Project Architect for this and the two buildings to the right: Julie Gabrielli.

Crest Road, Baltimore, Maryland (photo above).   Library with rebuilt bookcases and cherry floors. Not so big house design with multiple uses for the space. Columbia, Maryland (photo at left).  Addition enclosed with straw bale.  Stairs and landing made from ipe and borate-treated wood (no conventional ACQ treated wood).  Forbo linoleum floor.

Eight acres of extremely steep wooded slopes including a trout stream, in two existing lots.   Existing house was retained, one development right was donated into easement, one new lot was created.  "Zero-sum" road grading, i.e. no grading beyond immediate road edges and no dirt removed from or brought to the site.
